Small Businesses Have Entered into the Best Economy in 50 Years – Report Finds
According to a report by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), small businesses are seeing the best economy in 50 years. Despite the claims recently made about a recession, economists have concluded and are certain that small businesses are confident and positive. “Optimism among small business owners has surged back to historically high levels, thanks to strong hiring, investment, and sales,” said NFIB President and CEO Juanita D. Duggan. “Small business owners are demonstrating a continued confidence in the strength of the economy and are betting capital spending dollars on it. This solid investment performance is supporting ongoing improvements in productivity and real wages.”
What does this all mean? It means, the economy is strong, lending is up, and capital spending has increased. In other words, if you’re planning to invest in your business and take it to the next level, this is a great time to do it.
